Debutante actress Shweta Agarwal who is making her entrance with Aditya Narayan in ‘Shaapit’ denies her link-up with Aditya Narayan. Rumor buzzed that Shweta and Aditya were in a relationship and they even get cozy during the shooting of the movie. But Shweta vehemently denies any sort of link-up with Aditya, “Even I am curious as to who is leaking out this wrong information. We two used to hang out with each other after the shoots, but we are just friends.

You know commonly before the release of a movie, news do surface that the lead pair is seeing each other.”Shweta also cleared the weather about the intimate scene between her and her co-star, “There are no intimate scenes between me and Aditya. Bollywood star Vivek Oberoi says he lost his childhood sweetheart to cancer when he was 18.”When I was just 18, I lost my first love. My childhood sweetheart since the age of 13 died of cancer,” he wrote on his Twitter page.  The actor, who is the brand ambassador of Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA), says by helping those who cannot afford treatments he feels he`s honouring his late girlfriend.

“Every time I help CPAA, spend time with the patients going to the hospitals on Rose Day or celebrate my b`day with terminally ill children, I feel I am honouring her memory,” he added. “I was devastated when I lost her, but by helping save the ones who can`t afford the treatment and medicines, I feel she`s alive in their smiles.

“My mother taught me – the best way to honour the memory of someone you`ve loved and lost is to reach out and ease someone else`s pain and misfortune,” wrote the actor who is associated with the CPAA for eight years.The actor is now looking forward to the release of “Prince”, which is his first solo hero movie in five years.

With a decade into Bollywood and a myriad roles to his credit, actor Abhishek Bachchan says he is not averse to doing Hollywood movies.”Why not? The lines are blurring, there`s been a lot of exchange in terms of ability, technical as well as acting, among European, British, American and Indian cinema. If there is a script that is appealing enough then most definitely,”Abhishek said in CNN`s “Connect the World` programme.

The 34-year-old star, however, added that he does not see a big deal about Hollywood. “I`d rather ask when are they going to come and act in our films and dance around trees with fifty people? Not more than a decade ago, when Shahid Kapoor hadn’t yet got his break in Bollywood and was struggling to enter films, he used to live in a tenement in Andheri’s MHADA colony. Today, as well all know, Shahid Kapoor is one of the sought after stars in tinsel town and he pockets crores for every movie he does. Last week, a visit by Shahid to a studio in Andheri brought out old memory and old companions from the tenements.

Some of the people who were Shahid Kapoor’s friends from old times gathered outside the studio, hoping to meet the star. However, they were uncertain if Shahid Kapoor, a famous star now, would even take out time to meet them. But guess what? Shahid Kapoor did a Krishna to all his Sudama friends. The actor came out of the studio to meet his old buddies. He bonded with them, joked and laughed with them and even let them take photographs with him.

Well, stardom certainly hasn’t gone to Shahid’s head.

This is something that usually happens only in a Bollywood film. But, this time round, it’s happening in real life and how. Ironically, the people involved in this are the B-town residents. We are talking about the family of legendary late Kamaal Amrohi, which is in news due to their property dispute that’s worth over a staggering Rs.600 crore!Shandar, one of Kamaal Amrohi’s three children, has now filed a case against his sister Rukhsar and brother Wasim stating that they have falsely pledged his shares in ‘Mahal Pictures Pvt Ltd’ (that owns the famous Kamaal Amrohi studio), to a company in Pune.

As he was struggling his way through the cops to file a complaint, entered Preity Zinta, his ‘adopted’ daughter (who, of late has been tweeting about how difficult it is to file an FIR these days), who offered to shoulder his cause ahead.For starters, Shandar always took Preity Zinta as his daughter ever since he saw her films. No wonder then, he had announced that he would pass on all his property to Preity. Shandar, on his part, opined that he is battling not for money but for justice and that Preity is helping him fight it, despite strong opposition from the other family members.

Even as we publish this news, we just got the update that the High Court has adjourned further hearing on Shandar’s plea till March 11. Watch this space for further updates.

After Aamir Khan and Javed Akhtar’s verbal row making headlines the past week, Sonu Nigam and Vidhu Vinod Chopra are the latest ones to join the list.The duo got into a heated discussion over some copyright issues. Things went from bad to worse between them compelling other members of the committee to interfere and resolve. The argument was triggered with Sonu proposing that the producers should keep 50% of the movie’s profit while the music director and the singer should keep 25% each.

Vidhu clearly disagreed, and to his defense retorted that the losses should then be equally born by the music director.  The situation got out of control when Vidhu told Sonu to f*** off, in retaliation to which the infuriated and shocked Sonu demanded that the director mind his language.The incident was confirmed by Sonu Nigam who said whatever happened has happened. As for Vidhu, he confessed his ill tempered tongue in the face of the heated excitement. He claimed further, having nothing against Sonu.

In fact, right after the meeting, Vidhu went up to the singer to sort the issues, a fact that has been affirmed by Sonu, and the argument was resolved.What remains however, is the instigating matter of conceding greater chunk of the profits to the music director and singer for the film. The committee is yet to make its final call.

Acclaimed Bollywood actress Kajol who is married to actor Ajay Devgn for 11 years now, was voted the favourite ‘bahu’ (daughter-in law) in a poll. As part of the upcoming International Women’s Day celebrations on Monday a poll in which 250,000 women participated.In the poll, 43.08 percent women said Kajol was their favourite Bollywood daughter-in-law.

Besides Kajol, others vying for the position were Aishwarya Rai, Gauri Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Malaika Arora, Twinkle Khanna and Kiran Rao.“The women’s day poll is part of the constant research that shaadi.com conducts in its attempt to gauge the preferences of its members. The results show that today the women are looking to be more independent and are willing to adopt stronger roles in their life.

But compared to other stars Shilpa got cold response from the netizens. Priyanka and Mallika have made the record number of people follow them on the site. But for Shilpa it was a dim opening on the social networking website.Shilpa’s colleagues from Indian Premier League (IPL) are using this platform to air theire views on different matter. IPL commosioner Lait Modi, team franchisee SRK, Preity Zinta and players like Shane Warne and Yuvraj Singh are all over on Twitter.

But only director Karan Johar is following her on the social networking site. Shilpa debuted on Twitter on 26th February and around 4000 Twitters are following her. Where as Priyanka and Mallika have crossed 1 lakh followers mark in few days only. Shilpa is not following anybody on this site either.
