Only Hindi for the two Bachchans
Here’s some news for filmmakers who want to cast the Bachchans, particularly the men, in their films.Both Amitabh and Abhishek now prefer to get their scripts in the Devnagari script. When a filmmaker went to Bachchan Senior with a script, he asked him why the script was not in Hindi.
A similar incident took place with another well-known filmmaker who had gone to Abhishek with one more movie script. Big B has his answers ready on this one. “I have been taught to read and write in Hindi.And if a language has to be written and read in a particular format and I know it well, what is wrong in wanting a script in a particular conduct?” he says.Point taken, sir!
“Why just Hindi?” he asks.”Every language should be written and read in the form it was created in.”
