Aamir Khan slums it out in student hostel
We all know that Aamir Khan’s a perfectionist and believes in really getting into character. So therefore it comes as no surprise that the actor who is currently filming for Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Bangalore campus, is staying in the student hostel on campus. “Yes he is staying in the hostel on the campus of IIM. He feels that will allow him to pull of his character of Ryan better. In fact he isn’t just staying in a room but sharing it with another student. He is trying to live exactly like one does in a hostel. It was both Aamir and Raju sir’s decision to stay on campus as it will help the character to grow in its natural flow,” says a source from the sets. And so all the actors including R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Boman Irani are also staying on campus but each of them has their own room.“Even the food is not coming from a big five star hotel. Everyone is eating food from the campus canteen. The campus is also big so the actors are really enjoying,” says the source, “Real IIM students are also going to be a part of the film.”Kareena Kapoor who is starring opposite Aamir in the film will join the crew next week.
3 Idiots is directed Rajkumar Hirani and it is based on novel Five Point Someone. Here in this film Aamir is playing the role of a painter and his love interest in the film is Kareena Kapoor. The film is expected to release in June 2009.
